I like this portable cookware. I didn't buy this to go camping I bought it so i could use my smaller cast iron pan outside for deep frying food. I hate the smell of deep frying in my house and this provides an easy alternative. It is smaller then I expected so I don't use my large pan but it works just fine for some chicken wings or any of those frozen appetizers you buy at the store!
So this nifty thing is awesome. You can use it with a propane tank hook up or over an open fire. I love how it stacks inside itself to save space. We are excited to take it camping but right now we are using it in the backyard firepit on an open fire. It is on the smaller side so it would cook enough for like three people but more than that it may not be suitable for. It is lightweight too and the wood handles make it super easy to carry or handle while stirring or cooking in it. This is a great product and I would recommend to anyone!
I love the stability of this Alocs Camping Cookware set. Turning it on high gets you quick heating of liquids and such. I adapted part of this set so I can place a skillet on it. At a lower setting of heat, it makes scrambled eggs, bacon, french toast, and many other things, a breeze. I've seen people using other brands that are very narrow and tall and look like an accident waiting to happen. You won't have that with this set. The flame is also fully protected from the wind.
Easy to use. Light weight. A little bulky for backpacking, but perfect for camping. Fabulous emergency stove for when the power is out or not available.It did not come with directions. It is pretty easy to figure out, but directions would have been nice.The little lighter that comes with it did not work. It is useless.The stove and pot make a nice system. I am very happy with it.
I really really like this little cooking kit. It's compact but still offers a really good size that is plenty for cooking great meals in camp. I'll be using this a lot next week during my week in the deer blind!! Soup, chili, and stew are all on the menu.
